Hiking Group
Season & Schedule: Monday mornings, late October–early April. Meet 7:15–7:45 AM at the Baja Bistro (by the Post Office doors).
Hike Levels: Up to five levels, suitable for all abilities.
Risk Notice: Come along at your own risk. Leaders are volunteers, not professional guides.
Info & Sign-ups: Upcoming hikes posted on the bulletin board near the Post Office. Some hikes require sign-up due to limited spots.
Dues: $10 per season, collected Monday mornings at Baja Bistro. You may try a couple of hikes before paying; continuing hikers must pay dues. Guests of members may join for one week.

Brighter Side of Vision
The Brighter Side of Vision Loss Support Group meets the 1st Tuesday of the month 10-11am in the Mojave Room. We share resources and experiences. Open to all, No fees
January 6th meeting: Alonzo Cueller (Independent Living Blind) is our guest speaker He will discuss resources for low vision/blind independent living skills, education for technology, cane walking, and assistive devices.
February 3rd meeting: Don Knowles (Saavi Services for the Blind/Low Vision) He will discuss classes for technology, cooking, cleaning, etc.

Summer League Play Information
Summer League Play is the use of the recreational athletic court facilities by non-Venture Out residents during the period of time from May 1st through September 30th of each year defined as Summer League Play.Â
Any Club wishing to participate in Summer League Play must submit a request to the Activity Director or Club Liaison no later than March 1st of each year for approval as a sanctioned event. Summer League Play requirements and policy information can be obtained from the Activity Director, recdir@ventureoutmesa.com .
If approved the following requirements must be met:Â
- At least two members of the Club must be listed as Summer League Play Coordinators.Â
- At least one coordinator must be present at the athletic courts when summer League is in session.Â
