Howdy, neighbors!
Vinny here. I know I usually wander into your inbox on a different schedule during the summer, but we’re back a week early to help set a few things straight and publish some important corrections. For a couple of items we recently shared, we got our wires crossed, and for that, we sincerely apologize. We always aim to provide accurate information, and when we miss the mark, it’s important to make it right.
Before we get to the corrections, here’s a quick reminder:
Badges and decals were deactivated on May 30. If you plan to remain at Venture Out after that date and have not yet updated your badge or decal, please stop by the Administration Office or call ahead before you arrive. Ray will be happy to update your badge and decal for rollover so you can continue coming and going without any surprises at the gate.
Now, let’s get those corrections squared away.
Correction and Apology
In the last batch of of Hey Vinny! letters (published May 27, 2026), we incorrectly stated that approval was required for both interior and exterior paint colors. This information was inaccurate.
To clarify, paint color approval is not required as part of the permit process.
We sincerely apologize for the error and any confusion it may have caused. Our goal is to provide accurate and helpful information to residents, and we regret this mistake.
Thank you to those who brought the issue to our attention and for your understanding as we work to ensure the information we share is correct.
2026-2027 RESIDENT DIRECTORY
We've heard your feedback.
"Will the 2026-2027 printed Resident Directory have everyone and every lot owner listed again?"
"The last directory did not include everyone or every lot owner. It was disappointing."
Answer:
Yes. This year's directory is expected to be much more accurate than in the past. We are now using a single database as the source for directory information. For many years, multiple sources of information were used, which contributed to inconsistencies and omissions.
To help ensure the directory is as accurate and complete as possible, we need your help. Please review your contact information and encourage your neighbors to review theirs as well.
If you have already notified the Administration Office of updates or corrections since March or April 2026, your information should already be reflected in the database. However, if you have any additional changes, please notify the Administration Office either in person or by email.

If you are unsure whether you are scheduled to be included in the 2026-2027 Resident Directory, please contact or call the Administration Office directly for verification.
Directory corrections and updates must be submitted by June 15 to help ensure inclusion in the upcoming directory.
COMMUNITY UPDATES AND REMINDERS
Palm Tree Trimming
Palm tree trimming is scheduled to begin June 3. Work will be limited to the East Pool and West Pool areas.
Street Sealing Reminder
Street sealing is scheduled to resume on June 8, June 10, and June 12. Please follow all posted maps and instructions.
