Your Weekly Resident Newsletter from Venture Out at Mesa
Published on Jan. 19, 2026
Howdy neighbors, Vinny here, dusting off my boots and trotting in with a handful of updates from around our little patch of desert. There’s been some steady progress, a few changes worth noting, and a couple of reminders to help keep everyone on the same trail. So grab a cool drink, get comfortable, and let’s take a leisurely stroll through what’s new around the community.
Before we get into it, The AirBeam crew is still working around the community, setting up units and repairing damaged pavers. If you notice anything that hasn’t been fixed yet, contact Ray in the Admin Office to get it added to the list.

TV Service Update
During the open Board meeting on January 15, the DirecTV contract was approved with a vote of 7 yes and 2 no. Keep an eye on future Vinny newsletters and emails for details on next steps and installation timing. I’ll keep my ears perked.
Pet Park Weed Treatment
On Monday, January 19, the Pet Park will be closed for weed spraying. It’ll reopen after 1PM that same day, so your four-legged pals won’t miss too much playtime.
Quarterly statements
Quarterly statements for January, February, and March 2026 went out last week. If you didn’t receive yours by mail or email, please give the Admin Office a call.
Letters from Hey Vinny!
Hey Vinny!
I look at Facebook and see all these people posting news about Venture Out. I look at these and see so many items posted that are wrong. Why don’t people bring questions to the office and /or ask a Board member for the truth? There is one lady that post all the time, and I checked out her posting on the DirecTV contract today and saw what she said was completely wrong with what I witnessed at the meeting.
Well friend, that’s a tail I’ve seen more than once. Social media tends to run faster than the facts, and rumors can grow legs out there. Venture Out does not use Facebook as an official source of information. Official news is shared through this Venture Shout newsletter and direct emails from Venture Out so everyone receives the same, accurate information straight from the source.
Hey Vinny!
I’m at the Community Center most every night during the season. I see the late-night maintenance staff just walking around and even sitting around talking. I’m sure there is work to be done in this area. Is there not a supervisor at night to keep them busy, or do we have too many workers in the evening?
Now don’t you worry, there is an evening supervisor on duty. If something doesn’t look quite right or makes your ears perk up, the best trail to follow is to reach out to the Activities Director, Kimberly Storts, or the General Manager, Steve Byfield, so it can be looked into and handled properly.
Hey Vinny!
I just wanted to say that I can’t believe all the things that have been accomplished over the past year with our new management. Thanks to the Board for getting a true professional to manage this park.
Well by golly, that kind of progress doesn’t just wander in from the desert by accident. The Board had been in contact with Steve Byfield for many years and knew just who to call when the community needed steady, experienced leadership. He officially stepped in as General Manager in January 2025, bringing along 35 years of HOA management know-how, and you can see the results all around the park. I will be sure to pass along your kind words.
That’s all for now, neighbors. Stay warm, stay informed, and I’ll be back soon with more desert news. If you are a current property owner and have not been able to create an account on our website, please follow the step-by-step support article below.
