Croquet Club
CLUB INFORMATION
The purpose of the club is to foster the playing of croquet at Venture Out by teaching residents and guests how to play croquet and how to maintain the courts and club equipment and by structuring club events to encourage members to play together and participate in all club activities including croquet play, tournaments, and club fundraisers. Players on the court should be respectful and have fun!
Requirements to join:
Members must be owners, renters, or guests residing in the park. Associate members must be legally in Venture Out, but need not be residents.
Announcements and News
Traditional Croquet Lessons (sign up in shed): Tuesdays at 10am with Bob Bechtold Wednesdays at 1pm with Mary Waitrovich
Social Croquet Happy Hour: Every Thursday and Sunday at 3pm. All skill levels welcome. BYOB and a snack to share if you are so inclined!
Traditional Croquet: Every Monday, Tuesday, and Friday at 11am. This is where we follow the official croquet rules (see document below).
Events & Fundraisers
Brownie sales are the first Saturday of each month. Next 2 events are February 7 and March 7, near the outside grills during the Jumbo Hotdog Sale from 11-1pm. Cost is $2 for a generous-sized brownie. Add $1 for a scoop of ice cream.
Meetings
Annual club meeting on Sunday, March 8, 2026 from 2-4pm in the Cabana room. Members will be served lunch, then off to the court for dessert and a game!

Dues
$10 per person annually. Pay during Happy Hour croquet on Thursdays and Sundays from 3-5pm.
