CLUB INFORMATION
We encourage new ham radio operators by sponsoring classes for technician, general, and advanced licenses.
We help with the 5 K walk/runs and parking for events at Venture Out.
We maintain a battery operated radio to be able to communicate
with others in the event of emergencies.
The shack has a workbench and many tools that can be used to work on electronics. The ham shack has several HF transceivers and several antennas including two HF beams. There is also a 2-meter rig.
Access to the Electronics Wi-Fi network is available as well as several Windows-based computers that can be used for internet access.
Owners may erect antennas on their unit for ham radio operation as long as they comply with the Venture Out Condo rules. – We support a field day each year with our sister club, Sunlife ARC. – We hold 2 Meter fox hunts in the park annually. – We have an annual Christmas party with our sister club, Sunlife ARC.
