The Venture Out Tennis Club is where fun, fitness, and friendship come together—on and off the court. Members enjoy eight well-maintained courts, ball machines, easy court reservations, and a full schedule of organized play—from social round robins and Play & Practice sessions to leagues, tournaments, and one-day invitationals. The Venture Out Tennis Club offers fun, fitness, and friendship for players of all levels—both on and off the court. For just $40 per season, members enjoy organized play, skill development, and a strong social community.

What Members Get

Court Access & Ball Machines: Reserve courts for private play and book ball machines for practice.

Organized Play for All Levels: Participate in social round robins, Play & Practice sessions, beginner lessons, and the popular Sunday Mixed Doubles Ladder.

League & Invitational Play: Compete in East Valley Senior Tennis League (EVSTL) play, the 75+ League, tournaments, and one-day invitationals with neighboring clubs.

Coaching & Skill Development: Access free welcome clinics, beginner instruction, level-based sessions, and optional private lessons.

Social & Volunteer Opportunities: Enjoy club socials, dinners, dances, and fundraising events that bring members together and support the Venture Out community.

Support for New Members: Every new member receives guidance from a member navigator and a complimentary skill evaluation.

Non-Playing Membership: Not ready to play? Non-playing memberships are just $10 per season and are perfect for those who want to volunteer, attend social events, and support the club.

How to book courts (CourtReserve):
CourtReserve is the Club’s online system for reserving courts, booking a ball machine, and registering for on-court events.

• Log in to the CourtReserve portal

• Choose Book a Court, Book a Court with Ball Machine, or Register for an Event.

• Pick your date/time, confirm the length (30, 60, or 90 minutes), and click Save.

• You’ll receive an email confirmation and can edit or cancel if plans change.

The Club’s Rummage and Bake Sale was a standout success, exceeding its benchmark by an impressive 15%. From setup to pack-up, dedicated volunteers kept everything running smoothly. What began as a big undertaking turned into a rewarding achievement—thanks to the teamwork, energy, and commitment of everyone involved.

50 Years Strong—VO Tennis Hits Its Stride! 
At this year’s AGM, the Club celebrated a milestone year of growth, innovation, and community spirit. From new programs and upgraded courts to expanded leagues, a new website and CourtReserve system, a thriving Fall Classic, and successful fundraising activities—we’ve strengthened both play and connection. Save the Date: Fall Classic Registration Opens April 1 
Mark your calendar for the 27th Annual Venture Out Fall Classic, October 26–31, 2026—a week of spirited play, great company, and unforgettable tennis. Registration opens on April 1 and closes on October 11. Early Bird rates of $70 per team until July 1 ($80 after). Enjoy guaranteed matches, lively competition, and a welcoming community atmosphere. Find your partner and register beginning on April 1. 

Meetings

Our scheduled meetings keep members informed, connected, and involved. Everyone is welcome to attend and stay up to date on Club activities and decisions.

The March 2 Annual General Meeting was well attended by over 80 members and proved both informative and engaging. The Club also hosted a hamburger dinner for all members. Visit the Club Rules and Docs section below, and click on the Meeting Minutes tab, to access the meeting minutes.

CourtReserve lets members:

  • View available court times
  • Reserve courts and ball machines
  • Register for on-court events
  • Edit or cancel reservations anytime

As a member you e-mail has been added to the CourtReserve system, just click “Player Log-in” and set up a password to start your booking process

2. Choose Book a Court, Book a Court with Ball Machine, or Register for an Event

3. Select your date, time, and duration

4. Save — confirmation is sent by email

Helpful Tips

  • Book early — popular times fill quickly
  • Please cancel if plans change
  • Ball machines work best on Court 3 (Courts 4–6 also available with extension cord)

Courts 7–8 (between the Front Gate and the Venture Out Center): Lighted courts available to residents on a first-come, first-served basis—no reservations.

Fundraising and volunteer events bring members together to support the Tennis Club and Venture Out community while having fun, meeting new people, and making a meaningful difference.

Fundraising and Volunteerism Information Brief 

Member Evaluation is a free service that assesses a member’s doubles skills and playing experience using the National Tennis Rating Program (NTRP) guidelines. Evaluations are optional and not required for membership, but they open the door to many of the Club’s most enriching tennis opportunities.

Membership Dues
Join the Venture Out Tennis Club for just $40 per season and enjoy tennis, learning, and community.

Members receive a free skill evaluation, guided support, court access, ball machines, leagues, ladders, clinics, tournaments, and invitationals. From beginner lessons to competitive league play—plus social events and volunteer opportunities—there’s something for every level.

Note: Non-playing members can join for only $10 per season. This option is perfect for those who don’t wish to play tennis but would like to support the club by volunteering, helping with fundraisers, and/or attending social functions.
