Inside this issue, you’ll find a handy roundup of festive things to do around town (Community Article), a quick reminder on keeping our pathways clean for paws and people alike, and an important notice to help you stay sharp when it comes to protecting yourself from scams. Open House
January 12, 1 pm to 3 pm
During the Recreation Open House, you are invited to stop by and take a look at the newly renovated Admin Office, Real Estate Office and Laundry Room. Many residents were not here in August for the original Admin Office tour, so this is a great chance to see the updates. The spaces will be open for walkthroughs during this time only.
HOA Payments
Residents will no longer be able to use the HOA Portal (Engage) for payments. All payments must be made through the PO box lockbox, or with the Western Alliances portal, or drop the payment off at the admin office. If you have any questions, please call the office or stop by.
The quarterly statements for January will be going out no later than December 19.Â
See this page for more information on how to make your payment.

Scammer Alert!
Protect Yourself from scammers posing as SRP
• SRP will never require a specific payment method such as Zelle, Cash App or prepaid cash cards.
• Scammers may threaten immediate power disconnection. SRP will always send one or more notices by mail, email, text or app before any shutoff.
• Some scammers may claim to be from SRP and appear in person. SRP does not collect payments door to door and does not conduct door-to-door sales. Always verify identity by checking for an official vehicle, shirt and badge.
SRP is available to help
If you believe you have been targeted, call (602) 236-8833 (Monday through Friday, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.) or contact your Strategic Energy Manager. Additional tips are available at srp.net/scam.
Community Bulletin
You may have heard some concerning news around VO about recent burglaries. The reports are accurate, and we want to be sure everyone is aware of the situation and taking simple, sensible precautions to stay safe.
Here are a few simple things you can do to help keep the community safe:
• Please let the Admin Office know when you leave for the season and when you return. This is part of our rules and helps us keep track of which homes should be vacant so we can keep an eye on them and stay aware of any activity.
• When you are here, stay aware of your surroundings. If you notice anything that seems unusual or out of place, call VO Patrol and they will look into it.
• If you see something that looks dangerous or urgent, call the Mesa Police first, and then notify VO Patrol.
Here are a few things you should not do:
• Do not confront anyone under any circumstances. That is not your role, and it can put you in danger. Call for help instead.
• Do not share or spread unconfirmed information. This can create unnecessary worry and confusion in the community.

Website Use for Property Listings
We want to clear up some confusion about the Classified Ads and the Digital Bulletin Boards on the website.
Classified Ads
This section is for:
• Items you want to sell
• Items you want to give away
• Items you are looking for
• Property rentals you want to list yourself (not through the on-site property manager)
Only registered website users (current property owners) can create Classified Ads, but everyone on the internet can see them.Â
Please remember: People from outside VO who are looking to rent a property will look under Resort → Properties → Properties for Rent, not in the Classified Ads. Those rentals are handled by the on-site property manager. If you want your property listed there, please contact the property manager directly through the Real Estate office at (480) 832-1016.
If your property is already listed in the Real Estate section and you create a Classified Ad for it, it will be removed. Listings can only appear once on the website.Â
Digital Bulletin Boards (Forums)
These boards are for conversation only.
They are not the place to post anything for sale or for rent.
If items for sale or rent are posted on the Digital Bulletin Boards, they will be removed without notice. Please use the Classified Ads section for all sales or rental listings.
Quick Reminders
Club Updates are updated weekly and the holidays may impact this schedule.
Please submit your club updates by 3pm on Wednesdays for Friday publication. Please note: Updates received after 3pm on Wednesday will be published the following Friday.
Renter Log In - Website
I am a renter, why can’t I log in?
We apologize. You only get an account if you’re a current property owner at Venture Out.
You can still access useful information without a log in.
Property Owner Log In - Website
I’m a property owner, why can’t I log in?
As of today, all website access requests approved by the Front Office have been processed.
Many residents who submitted requests already had existing accounts. If you’re unable to log in, please enter your email and click “Forgot password?” to reset your login. If you still have trouble after resetting your password, contact the Front Office to confirm your account email.
Can't log in to website
I’ve requested access and still can’t get in
There is a high likelihood that you are requesting with an email that is already in the system. We are seeing a large number of couples who are trying to use one email for two separate accounts. Your email is tied to your login and each profile must have a unique email address.Â
Account Request - Website
Only current Venture Out property owners can log in to the community website. Renters and non-property owners do not have access.
If you’re a property owner and unable to log in, please complete the Website Access Request form. Once your ownership is verified, you’ll receive instructions on how to create your password and access your account.
Partner's Name on Profile
Why can’t I enter both mine and my partner’s name?
You might see that some have, however there is a character limit and this system was not designed for two people. Ideally, each person has their own profile. Couples who have edited their profile to include “&” will soon see the “&” removed and names might display as George Marie Williams and not George & Marie Williams. There is a section in the profile to list your partner or roommate’s name. And again, each person should have their own profile.
Pages Missing
Why can’t I the pages you’re talking about?
The menu changes if you are logged in. If you are not logged in, you cannot see the full menu. The pages that are restricted are the Resident Network, Condo and Social Board pages, Financials, and Meeting and Agenda archives. These are pages relevant to property ownership, which is also why renters do not have login credentials.Â
