Library Service Club

CLUB INFORMATION

The purpose of the library is to provide an area where a variety of reading materials are available to all residents. The library is open whenever the Community Center is open, usually 6:30 am until 11 pm. Librarians are on duty most days between 10 am and 4pm during the season.

Many of our books are donated by residents, with the VO Social Club providing funds each year for the purchase of, primarily, large print books. Book sales are held three or four times per year with the proceeds going to the VO Social Club. Our goal is to be an outstanding library enjoyed by all Venture Out residents.

Announcements and News

Our January book sale will include many of our audible books on CD’s. They haven’t been getting any use, so we will make room for more books.
Did you know we have a biography section? Biographies are shelved by the subject’s last name.

Our next book sale will be on January 8, 2026 from 9am until noon at the Center.

How do I check out a book?

Choose your book, Sign your book out at the desk including the title and your name- Return within 2 weeks What kind of books can be donated to the library? We accept most books. We do not accept cook books, bibles, water damaged books, torn books
