How To: Change Profile Images, Email, or Password
Your Venture Out Digital Directory Profile lets you stay connected with neighbors, share your contact details, and keep your information up to date. If you ever need to update your profile, change your email, or reset your password, you can do it quickly online.
Updating Your Profile Picture and Cover Photo
Editing Your Profile Photo
- Log in to the Venture Out website with your username and password.
- Click on your name or photo in the upper right corner.
- Select Profile from the dropdown menu.
- Choose View.
- Click on your photo.
- Upload or drag and drop a new photo.
- Crop your photo if needed. Click View Profile in top right corner.
To Change your Cover Photo
Click on the top left icon on your cover photo and repeat the steps above.

Change Your Email or Password
Changing Your Email Address
- While logged in, click on your name/image in the top right corner.
- Select Account > Login Information
- Under Email Address, type your new email.
- Enter your current password to confirm the change.
- Click Save Changes.
Please Note: Changing your profile email does not change your email in any of the other VO systems, only the website. Please be sure to update your email with Admin Office as well.
Changing Your Password
- While logged in, click on your name/image in the top right corner.
- Select Account > Login Information
- Under Password, type your new password.
- Click Save Changes.
Tip: Choose a password that’s easy for you to remember but hard for others to guess.

If You Forget Your Password
- Click on Sign In.
- On the Sign In page, click “Forgot Password?”
- Enter your email address.
- Check your inbox for a reset link (be sure to look in spam or junk folders if you don’t see it).
- Click the link and create a new password.
