Lots of Important Updates This Month, VO!

A lot is happening around the community, from website reminders to fiber work, corner-lot changes, and new rental rules.
AirBeam Internet will also be on-site to answer questions about their service.

If you rent out your home, you may need a new license from the City. Here’s everything you need to stay informed and up to date.

Website Access Reminder

VentureOutMesa.com Account Access
Our new website now has more than 1,300 registered users. This means most property owners already have an account. When the site launched, we sent an email to the address you gave us. That email had a link to set up your password.

Many people asking for access already have an account. Before sending a request, please try the steps below.

If you did not get the setup email, or you forgot your password:

  1. Go to ventureoutmesa.com
    2. Click SIGN IN in the top corner
    3. Type your email address
    4. Click FORGOT PASSWORD to get a reset link

Follow the link sent to your email to make a new password.

Renters and Website Access
Only current VO property owners can have a login for the website. Renters cannot register or sign in. Renters can still view general information on the website without logging in.

Fiber Internet Information Update

AirBeam Internet will hold two more Happy Hour meetings for residents who want to learn about their service and prices.

Stop by and get your questions answered by an AirBeam Internet rep! Sign up for free at the Front Office.

Meeting Dates:
• December 8 from 3:30 PM to 5 PM
• January 12 from 3:30 PM to 5 PM

Location:
Baja Bistro

Community Updates

Fiber Crew Work
The fiber internet crew will begin work this week to replace bricks, turf, and anything else that needs to be put back the way it was. This process takes time, so please be patient. Everything will be restored as the crew works through the community.

Corner Lot Setback Update
We have an important update about the 20-foot setback for corner lots. On November 5, Steve Byfield and our ARC Director, Amber Kolek, attended a hearing with City Zoning. The request to change the setback from 20 feet to 4 feet was approved with a 7-0 vote.

This change only applies to the corner lots that submitted their paperwork through Venture Out.

If you did not send in your information and still want the setback change, please contact Amber at architectural@ventureoutmesa.com or 480-832-0200 ext. 140. She will tell you how to reach the City on your own to complete the process.

Short-Term Rental Update
If you rent your home for 29 days or fewer, it counts as a short-term rental. To do this, you must have a Mesa short-term rental license

You can only get that license if you already have a valid TPT license. You can learn more about the TPT license on the AZDOR website.

When you fill out the 3rd-party rental form, you must include your license number.

Starting December 01, you will need this license number before the Admin Office can complete any new rental registration.

Quick Reminders

I am a renter, why can’t I log in?
We apologize. You only get an account if you’re a current property owner at Venture Out.

You can still access useful information without a log in.

I’m a property owner, why can’t I log in?
As of today, all website access requests approved by the Front Office have been processed.
Many residents who submitted requests already had existing accounts. If you’re unable to log in, please enter your email and click “Forgot password?” to reset your login. If you still have trouble after resetting your password, contact the Front Office to confirm your account email.

I’ve requested access and still can’t get in
There is a high likelihood that you are requesting with an email that is already in the system. We are seeing a large number of couples who are trying to use one email for two separate accounts. Your email is tied to your login and each profile must have a unique email address.

Only current Venture Out property owners can log in to the community website. Renters and non-property owners do not have access.

If you’re a property owner and unable to log in, please complete the Website Access Request form. Once your ownership is verified, you’ll receive instructions on how to create your password and access your account.

Why can’t I enter both mine and my partner’s name?
You might see that some have, however there is a character limit and this system was not designed for two people. Ideally, each person has their own profile. Couples who have edited their profile to include “&” will soon see the “&” removed and names might display as George Marie Williams and not George & Marie Williams. There is a section in the profile to list your partner or roommate’s name. And again, each person should have their own profile.

Why can’t I the pages you’re talking about?
The menu changes if you are logged in. If you are not logged in, you cannot see the full menu. The pages that are restricted are the Resident Network, Condo and Social Board pages, Financials, and Meeting and Agenda archives. These are pages relevant to property ownership, which is also why renters do not have login credentials.
